Sometimes it's useful to co-ordinate things in Teamspeak like when you're on a pug raid or running some group PvP matches. The problem is we don't want to give our main Teamspeak password to every vagabond out there. The solution is that you can create temporary passwords that they can use for a limited duration, after which the password expires and they can't login with it again.

Everybody with Stormtrooper rank and above can create temporary passwords in Teamspeak so make sure you are familiar with the process.

  1. In Teamspeak right click on the "Stroke my Wookie" at the top of the channel tree and choose "Add Temporary Password".
  2. Type the password in the first box. It is case sensitive.
  3. Set a time time the password should expire. After this time, people trying to join the server with the temporary password will be rejected. People already logged into the server when the time expires are not kicked but can't reconnect if they leave.
  4. Specify the channel the system will move them into when they log in. This is useful so you don't have to keep an eye on the Lobby to move them into your channel manually.
