Our guild is one of the oldest and largest communities in the game and we embrace people from all over the world. Myself and the officers do our best to provide a friendly environment along with a huge range of events where you can enjoy yourselves and forget about anything else that might be stressing you out. Most people understand that for this to work we all have to get along and avoid causing problems.
Unfortunately some people just don't play well with others. In most cases this results in obvious problems like people raging in guild chat or a couple of people getting into a long drawn out bickering campaign against each other. Generally myself and the officers will give out warnings and leave things to resolve themselves but sometimes problems are more subtle and require a more involved remedy.
For me and the Dark Council these ongoing problems get counted as "time". If I spend 30 minutes handling a single problem then it actually costs 30 minutes of my life but I believe that is worth it if the problem will be resolved and everybody walks away happy. If that doesn't happen and I discuss it with the three Dark Council members for another 30 minutes then that single problem would of taken 2.5 hours of our lives; 1h for me and 30m for each of the others. That gets further magnified when it involves the ~20 Grand Moffs and of course it eats up time from guild members who should be having fun instead. All the time spent dealing with these issues means we are unable to focus on the fun things for you like organising groups, leading events and running competitions.
Sadly, in some cases it is just in the person's nature to cause problems either intentionally or unintentionally and there is a limit to the amount of time any of us should have to spend on these. Recently several of our problem people formed a raid team and our hope was that this would give them a positive focus and help teach them about cooperation. Instead it has become a group that keeps pissing people off with their attitudes and opinions and the fact is that me and the Dark Council are sick of seeing people upset and arguing.
We are a big guild who work together to have fun. We are not random people on fleet. We expect people to have common sense and not need every aspect of social interactions explained to them. If you can't get along with our community then this guild is not the place for you. There are plenty of other guilds that do not care what you say or how you act.
With immediate effect, Madness Squadron is formally disbanded and half of the team members have been removed from the guild including the leaders:
Banished:Smalykas / Incura / Gelious / Lortroka
This decision has taken a lot of consideration and I believe it is in the best interests of our guild. I understand that some people may not agree so if you wish to discuss this below then please do so but keep it civil and remember that the decision and actions have already been made. The remaining members of the team are welcome to stay in the guild as they did nothing wrong. If they choose to leave out of loyalty to those that were kicked then they are welcome to rejoin later on if they change their minds as understandably this is an awkward situation for them to find themselves in.
I see this as the end of a long running drama and I hope we can all leave this behind as we move towards a brighter future.

We've let Smalkas back in as he made a good point with his second site application in that he did not ask to be put in charge of that group and was forced into a difficult situation as their leader. This is the last chance.
