Hey everyone,

I trust you are all safe and well?

Mature, returning Founder player here. Due to work, I mainly solo but want to do my small part in helping this guild.

I have a Cathar Bounty Hunter as a PowerTech - luv to set them on fire etc and simply stand there and take the hits. My companions had to be heals, back in the days, so when I last played had to be specific ones as well until now and I find them to all heal, tank or DPS.

I'm about to be able to buy my 1st actual armour class piece with the 3k fragments you have to collect and need your advice as to which set I should be looking for? Which set bonuses should I look for? As I said, I normally solo and have a companion as heals so should I be looking for a DPS type of set for the powertech? With a companion that heals, shoudl I change from tank to DPS?

The bonus set you want really depends on the spec you play.

For companions.. lately they are quite OP (i usually have them on healing.. a high level companion will keep you alive like 90% of the time.

Looking at the page for set infomation, I'm now really torn between going 'safe' and creating a tank build (with healer companion), Amplifiers would be Tech Wiz (added DPS) and offencsive gearing items.

My other side says maybe go for Pyro (Meteor Brawler set) and combine with healer companion and have Defensive gearing items.

What do you guys think??

Please remember I mainly solo as work doesn;t give me the times I'd like to play 😧
